The Justice Department has
written two letters to the U.S District Court in Maryland supporting the
Constitutional rights of citizens arrested for filmingcops on duty.
“The United States urges the
Court to find that both the First and Fourth Amendments protect an individual
who peacefully photographs police activity on a public street,” one letter
read.
